Born and raised in Wythenshawe, Manchester, Cole Palmer began his football journey at a young age. He joined the Manchester City Academy at under-eight level in 2010, progressing through the ranks and captaining the under-18s during the 2019–20 season. Despite concerns about his physique during his teenage years, Palmer's technical ability and determination saw him rise through the youth system.

Manchester City (2020–2023)

Palmer made his senior debut for Manchester City on 30 September 2020 in an EFL Cup match against Burnley. He scored his first goal for the club in a 6–1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers on 21 September 2021. During his time at City, he was part of the squad that won the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League in the 2022–23 season. 

Chelsea FC (2023–Present)

On 1 September 2023, Palmer signed a seven-year contract with Chelsea, with an option for an additional year. The transfer fee was reported to be £40 million, potentially rising by £2.5 million in add-ons. 

He quickly became an integral part of the team, making his debut on 2 September 2023 against Nottingham Forest. Palmer scored his first goal for Chelsea in a 4–1 victory over Burnley on 7 October 2023. 

In the 2023–24 season, he emerged as Chelsea's top scorer, netting 22 goals in the Premier League and contributing significantly in other competitions. His performances earned him the Premier League Young Player of the Season award.
